A New Assignment From God

October 2020

Ever since I gave my heart to the Lord (Feb. 4th, 1979) I have endeavored to obey God and His direction for my life! I have made a few mistakes along the way, but I have never made a mistake in regards to His assignments He has given me over the years.

Is that because I am so great? Absolutely not! It is because the Holy Spirit is great and He never makes a mistake! As long as we follow Him, He directs us in the way we are to go!

I followed His direction in leaving being a college baseball coach and attending Rhema Bible Training Center in 1983-1984. I followed His direction to work at Oral Robert’s University for two years (1984-1985). I followed Him to work at Victory Christian Center from 1985-2013. I then was directed to move to NJ and start holding meetings in Staten Island, which we have done for several years.

With that being said, God spoke to me 3 years ago, about being the next Pastor at a certain church in northern NJ in the Wanaque/Ringwood area! I was shocked when I heard that word from God, and told Him I would not try to make that happen, but He would have to bring it to pass!

I only told my wife Kim, what God had spoken! I continued to honor the Pastors in that area, as well as their staff! Finally, last month the Pastor called me and we discussed what God had spoken to me about possibly taking over that church.

The Pastor shared with me his ideas, and then a few days later, he told his members that it was time for them to go find another church, as they were going to shut down the current church, and sale the building. Through a process of time, it was obvious that taking over the current church was not going to work out.

But God knew the direction He had for me and Kim! He reminded us that the church is not a building but it is “the people.” We have been very diligent is walking in integrity and doing things right morally, ethically, and Biblically!

My spiritual advisors agreed, that based on the Word God had spoken to me and the Pastor’s actions,  we were free to proceed with starting the process of pioneering a brand-new church in the Wanaque/Ringwood area of northern NJ.

So, today I am announcing that Kim and I are having our first Prayer/Interest Meeting on Sunday, Oct. 25th, at the Skyline Lakes Fire Dept., 67 Edgewood Road, Ringwood, NJ 07456, at 4:00 pm.

If you are in the area, we would love to meet you and share the vision, purpose, mission, of this brand-new, life giving church. We will discuss the role of the future members of the church, the role of the future Pastoral Staff, and our roles as the Pastors!

We will worship, pray, and hear what God is saying in regards to this new church! It will be exciting to be right in the middle of what God wants to do in the Wanaque/Ringwood NJ area!

This new church, will reach the community, the nation, and the nations with the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! In these unusual times, we believe God is raising up the local church to bring salvation, healing, restoration, and deliverance to His people in the earth!

If you do not live in the area, we would ask you to pray in regards to this “new church plant.” And please consider planting a financial seed towards this new, life-giving church.

Kim and I are excited about this new direction in our ministry life that is now unfolding. Let me encourage you, God has a plan for your life as well. Spend time talking and listening to God! He will direct your steps and lead you to the place of destiny for your life! You can trust Him!

I have attached a flyer to this email! Feel free to pass it on to your friends, family, and others who may live in the Wanaque/Ringwood area! We appreciate you standing with us, as we continue to follow God’s direction for our lives!
